What is preconstruction?

Preconstruction is part of the planning stage of a construction project. It involves the definition of the project, identification of potential issues, planning and scheduling, scope, cost estimation, and analysis of needs for the construction project.

Proper preconstruction can help you locate time and money-saving opportunities and help inform future decision-making. These services are also a helpful tool for the project owner to better understand the project before committing to a general contractor. It is typically a standalone service and fee separate from construction costs.

I have some general design ideas: can you help me determine which will work best for my situation?

Yes, this is what we do! You can go to our contact page and email us your project information. When our team member meets with you, they will discuss possible options and help guide you according to what is best for your situation.

Will I be able to request or change things during the project?

Yes, as long as the changes are within the project's scope. If extra materials or time are required, the request may necessitate an additional charge and change order, but you will be informed of this before finalizing the alteration. We will be delighted to collaborate with you. At Enovation Haiti, we aim to provide you with the level of trust and service that you need so that you may complete your project on time.

Are you licensed?

Yes, we licensed to build everything we list in our services list.

How do you handle the dirty work ?

We aim to leave the job site cleaner than when we arrived. Of course, what we do can be dirty. We tarp our work area, broom sweep and magnetic broom sweep the work area to get any possible debris. We also provide porta potties where applicable.

What are hard costs in construction?

Hard costs in construction are tangible costs that can be quantified and are related to the physical construction, to include labor and material, whereas soft costs are expenses that are not directly related to construction costs.

Included in hard costs are all of the costs for the visible improvements like grading, excavation, concrete, framing, electrical, carpentry, roofing, and landscaping. Hard costs contrast to soft costs which are those related to non-physical elements.
